O’Neill Brothers Wedding CD is Bestseller on WeddingChannel.com and TheKnot.com

NEW PRAGUE, MN (April 25, 2002) —After the date has been set, the flowers have been ordered, and the dress has been fitted, the focus of wedding planning turns to the more intricate details of the ceremony and reception – especially music. Hundreds of couples have called upon piano-playing brothers Tim and Ryan O’Neill to help make the best choices for their day. After playing at more than 200 weddings, the O’Neill Brothers have recorded a CD to help couples nationwide with their wedding music selections.
Their CD, A Day to Remember: Instrumental Music for Your Wedding Day, has become the best selling CD on weddingchannel.com and theknot.com.

“Music helps set the tone for the entire event, whether it’s traditional, contemporary or religious, ” says Tim. “Many couples have a favorite melody or style in mind, but often struggle to find exactly the right music.” Having planned their own wedding ceremonies in recent years, Tim and Ryan have a new perspective on what brides and grooms go through to get everything just right.
The selections of music on A Day to Remember include recommendations for the various parts of a wedding. Tracks include:

Prelude – “Wachet Auf” and “Air on a G String” by J.S. Bach; “Air” from Handel’s Water Music

Processional – Pachelbel’s “Canon in D”; “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring” by J.S. Bach

Ceremony – “The Wedding Song (There Is Love)” by Stookey; “Ave Maria” by Schubert, “I Will Be Here” by Steven Curtis Chapman; “The Gift of Love” (traditional Water is Wide melody)

Recessional – “Spring” from Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons; “Ode to Joy” by Beethoven

Reception – “From this Moment On” by Shania Twain; “The Way You Look Tonight” by Kern; “Forever in Love” by Kenny G
The repertoire was chosen based on their extensive experience selecting music for various types and settings of ceremonies, and also includes two original tracks, “Falling in Love,” and “Reminiscent Joy” (recommended for Prelude and Processional respectively). To help the busiest of brides, an accompanying sheet music book is also available.
The O’Neill Brothers are available for interviews to tap into their extensive wedding music experience and discuss topics such as how to pick the right music for a ceremony, musical dos and don’ts, or the latest trends in wedding music. For more information, visit www.pianobrothers.com.

Music fans’ interest in A Day to Remember (and the O’Neill Brothers’ 17 other CDs) has helped Tim and Ryan sell more than one million CDs — without being associated with a major record label. Along the way, the brothers have written and performed music for HBO (including music for “Sex and the City”), NBC and ESPN; and performed for President George H.W. Bush.
