Since 1996, Tim and Ryan O'Neill have been
interviewed by NBC affiliates regarding their innovative
idea to bring player pianos into stores in order to create
"live" ambiance at any time. The O'Neill Brothers achieved
national recognition by performing in more than 200 JC Penney
stores across the country.
In the past few years, their TV appearances have primarily
focused on their Midwest holiday concert tour, where they
perform on dueling grand pianos, along with their guest
musicians. Stations in Minneapolis, Des Moines, Green Bay,
Eau Claire, South Bend, Washington D.C., Omaha, Seattle,
Dallas, and Fargo have followed The O'Neill Brothers' path
to success.
One of their most notable television moments was during
the fall of 2003. Regis
Philbin, national TV host and alumnus of Notre Dame ('53),
created a commercial/public announcement for Notre Dame
airing on NBC using The O'Neill Brothers' music from their
most recent CD,
